The food is amazing and the pizza is well worth the wait. We came here after our river rafting trip to eat. The family and I loved the food. The local items featured in the store are one of a kind and organic or homemade.
A little pricey, but a great resource for a small town. They make an effort to sell local produce and I LOVE their local, organic free range eggs for only $4.99.

The Coop is an integral part of a bigger picture of the agricultural Rio Grande Gorge/Embudo valleys. Folks there " Think Cosmically and act Locally. The Coop goods and sevices reflect that. So does their Ruben sandwich at the deli.
If you look for places that are both " lost in time" , and up to date , Dixon and the Coop beckon you.
Nice small town market that has just about everything you need plus Boar's Head meats, prepared salads and sandwiches. Has interesting dry goods also.
